Pakistan added two more medals to its squash tally at the 20th Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya, with Noor Zaman and Muhammad Ashab Irfan each taking bronze in the men’s singles event. The medals were presented at the official Victory Ceremony held at Nagoya Kinjo-Futo Arena.
The pair contested the match for third place against each other, with Noor Zaman prevailing 3-0 (11-7, 11-7, 13-11) in a 26-minute encounter to claim the podium’s higher spot. Both players were awarded bronze medals following the conclusion of the singles and mixed doubles competitions.

Team competitions begin on Monday, where Pakistan’s squads will take part in pool play. The men enter the draw as the No. 2 seed in Pool B, while the women’s team is seeded ninth and placed in Group B (Pool B).
