PTCL Group reported a 62% year‑on‑year consolidated revenue increase for the nine months to Sept. 30, 2026, driven by mobile consolidation, Flash Fiber growth and enterprise services.

PTCL Group results for the nine months to September 30, 2026 show a 62% year‑on‑year consolidated revenue rise, a performance that underscores rapid consolidation after the amalgamation of Ufone and Telenor and stronger demand across fixed, enterprise and mobile services. The group reported a consolidated net profit of Rs. 4.7 billion and operating profit growth of 181% year‑on‑year.

PTCL Group results: Financial highlights

Consolidated revenue rose 62% YoY, driven by growth in fixed broadband, enterprise, wholesale and the enlarged mobile business under PTML. Consolidated operating profit increased 181% YoY and net profit reached Rs. 4.7 billion.

PTCL’s standalone revenue climbed 9% YoY. Segment growth included Flash Fiber revenue up 26%, Business Solutions up 15%, Carrier & Wholesale up 13% and international business up 11%. PTCL reported operating profit of Rs. 11 billion and net profit of Rs. 3 billion — a 343% YoY improvement.

PTML’s mobile business recorded a 139% YoY revenue increase, reflecting the consolidation of Telenor Pakistan; PTML posted operating profit of Rs. 33.5 billion, up 181% YoY. PTML added 1.5 million subscribers in Q3, taking its base to more than 76 million and reporting ARPU expansion from portfolio harmonisation and increased usage. Ubank generated Rs. 18.3 billion in revenue and moved to operating profitability, with its bottom line improving 84% YoY.

Network expansion, product offers and digital inclusion

PTML expanded its 5G footprint across major cities and progressed network integration across 25 districts by quarter‑end, while committing to nationwide network consolidation and quality improvements. Consumer initiatives included an Azadi Offer bundling 100 Mbps Flash Fiber with an IPTV set‑top box and an exclusive Flash Fiber bundle tied to the iPhone 18 launch in partnership with an Apple distributor.

On enterprise and digital services, the Business Solutions segment sustained momentum, backing demand for ICT, cloud solutions, on‑premises AI infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed services and data‑centre connectivity. PTCL also reaffirmed its leadership in submarine connectivity, IP bandwidth and domestic bandwidth services for carrier customers.

Social and inclusion programmes featured the Ba‑Ikhtiar initiative, which trained 2,100 women in 22 districts in digital marketing, e‑commerce and financial literacy; beneficiaries received 5G SIMs and UPaisa wallets. PTCL signed an MoU to deploy SILA, an AI‑powered sign language solution at selected service centres, and PTML partnered with UNICEF/NEOC to provide GSM connectivity to polio frontline workers.

What This Means for Pakistan

The results signal broader improvements in connectivity and digital access: a 5G footprint expansion across major cities and network integration in 25 districts should increase coverage and speeds for consumers and businesses. Growth in Flash Fiber, IPTV bundles and handset-linked broadband offers may widen access to high‑speed home internet. The addition of 1.5 million mobile subscribers in a single quarter points to rising mobile penetration and greater demand for data services.

Enterprise-strengthening through cloud, AI infrastructure and managed services supports corporates and government digital projects, while Ubank’s turnaround and skills training for 2,100 women represent concrete steps toward financial inclusion and digital literacy at the community level.

Background

PTCL announced these results at a Board meeting in Islamabad for the nine months ended September 30, 2026. The company attributed much of the mobile revenue and operating profit gains to the successful amalgamation of Ufone and Telenor under PTML and ongoing network integration and product launches.
